Sundar Pichai, Google CEO Accused? will be Questioned By US Judge

Recently, the CEO of Alphabet Inc’s Google has been summoned by the US Judge in California regarding a Suit that was filed against the Company related to the Incognito Mode in the Google platform.
The spokesperson of the company has mentioned a comment about the topic and said that we have already told about the working of incognito in Google and said that it only stops data from being saved to a user’s device.

The Magistrate Judge Susan Van Kevlen in San Jose, California, United States will rule the Pichai for 2 hours under the charges of sneaking Privacy of user’s while using the ‘Incognito’ Mode on the Internet. And Plaintiffs have said that their used location has been compromised by Google.
The Lawsuit was filed in 2020. And now the date of hearing arrives and on Monday, 27th December in the Federal court. Here the plaintiff argued and said that “Pichai has Unique personal Knowledge” related to the personal knowledge and Chrome Browsing.
The spokesperson, Jose Castaneda told Reuters that the new request was “Unwarranted and Overreaching”. Further adding he said “While we strongly dispute the claim in his case, we have cooperated with plaintiffs’ countless requests…. We will continue to vigorously defend ourselves,” said while giving the words to Reuters.

27th December, Monday the Magistrate, after ruling said that a “Few Documents establish that specific relevant information was communicated to and possibly from Pichai,” and that’s why he supported the request to Plaintiffs Lawyer to question him.
In the response, it was said that Google has already told the previous year that the Incognito mode only stops data from being saved on the user’s device, and at the current moment it is fighting the Suit.
In recent times the Alphabet’s Unit, the Privacy Disclosure have made regulatory and legal scrutiny and this action had been taken while seeing the various concerns related to such surveilling.
